And So I Watch You From Afar

This band's music really wants to make me bang my head and jump around like a bouncy ball and in the other minute it gets me an emotional implosion just because of the overwhelming sound cloud. And I think I don't overact by saying that these irish guys really know how to play instrumental postrock. ASIWYFA really got my attention as I saw one of their shows in german television. The live performance is easily stunning. I guess the song Set Guitars To Kill is one of my favs at the moment. I hope I can see them live soon cause they are coming to germany in december. MYSPACE

Calories - new album Basic Nature

Calories is a three-piece-rock band from UK. The first album Adventuring was already great and the second one Basic Nature is a pretty nice work! Give it a listen here: STREAM ALBUM.
Check Calories out here! MYSPACE
"A rich and varied record, Basic Nature sees Calories compliment strong melodic hooks with frenetic noise, recalling such underground titans as Hot Snakes, Cap ‘N’ Jazz and No Age. Their dedication to both craft and energy is a trait that has seen the band capture audiences around the UK, playing alongside The Thermals, Sky Larkin, Dananananaykroyd, Lovvers and Johnny Foreigner" (last.fm bio)

Trust Fanzine #144

CHECK

News about: The Get Up Kids
