Time to post some old stuff, really old stuff, but good for all time, I guess! Christie Front Drive formed in 1993 as a part of the Colorado post-hardcore scene, influenced by bands such as Sunny Day Real Estate (also great!) and Superchunk. I really love the voice of Eric Richter (what a nice german name) and consider it as pretty unique and emotional. Even though they'd only exist for about four years, CFD had (and has) a huge influence on emo music scene. Caulfield Records released an Anthology CD of their first recordings. After the break in 1997, they continued in other bands such as The 101, The Blue Ontario, Antarctica and other new projects. They reunited for one show in 2007 where all four original band members participated.
