Some Girls from California began in early 2002 with vocalist Wes Eisold (American Nightmare/Give Up the Ghost) and guitarist Rob Moran (ex-Unbroken) coming together with the common dream of creating a band that could be both brutal and innovative — and mess people up. I saw them live in Berlin years ago and remember a pretty awesome show that ended up in permanent screams of frontsinger Wes - who is really one of my favorites in the hardcore music scene. Justin Pearson (the Locust, Crimson Curse) joined the band as the bassist. They split up in 2007. Some Girls released music on Deathwish, ThreeOneG, and lastly Epitaph Records. The band also toured with the likes of Daughters, The Locust, Converge, and many more during their short life.
