Great show at Lovelite with OMEGA MASSIF, instrumental downtempo band from Würzburg, Germany. The location was pretty crowded and sweaty but there was a great dull ambience.

SECRET KNIVES from Wellington

Can't stop listening to this band: Secret Knives.
Secret Knives is an indie pop artist from Wellington who has released an EP 'The Wolves', 2008 and an album 'Affection', 2010.
Another great band of the list of artists from New Zealand such as Bang Bang Eche (Interview from my former blog musicheroes) or Die!Die!Die! (who are going to play a show in berlin with Thee Oh Sees)

2012, ich lebe noch

Well, well. Kurz vor Jahresende muss ich gestehen: Mein Blog hat sehr gelitten. I'm sorry...

2012 ist vorbei und viel ist passiert. Nun lebe ich schon seit neun Monaten in Offenbach und arbeite seitdem bei der Frankfurter Rundschau.

Was Konzerte angeht, so muss ich sagen, die Ausbeute in Frankfurt und Region ist beschränkt. Es gibt zwar 2-3 gute Locations aber so wirklich viele Bands (die ich mag) kommen leider nicht hierher. Umso intensiver freue ich mich dann auf die wenigen Konzerte, die stattfinden. Ein Highlight war kürzlich der Besuch von "The Soft Moon" im Nachtleben. Leider auch nicht gut besucht. Trotzdem super Konzert. Kann ich nur empfehlen!

Weiterhin hab ich jetzt auch gemerkt, dass Platten sammeln eigentlich sehr befriedigend ist, jedenfalls mehr als das Album nur digital zu besitzen.
